Multidisciplinary artist from Istanbul, Buğra Erol, works with photographic images of everyday scenes, which he artistically loads with weird and strange interventions using deformation and alienation. He chooses his artistic form, technique and medium according to the needs of ideas, that is why it consists of paintings, drawings, as well as of three dimensional objects, installations, videos and street art works. His oeuvre is also pointing to his attitude towards environmental crimes as a serious activist by critically reviewing our problematic position in the world in many psychological and socio-political dimensions.

 

He was born in Adana, Turkey in 1986, graduated from Fine Arts at Yeditepe Uni. in 2012. He lives and works between Berlin and Istanbul.
